So you're ready to get out there and start shooting pics. It could be for anything- nature, photoshoots, a trip. Whatever the reason, the best way you can start your photography journey is to be prepared.
Before you head out, let's start with your mindset.
What are you looking to get out of your photoshoot? What gets you in the mood? Do you need to feel relaxed? Do you need to pump up your adrenaline with energetic music?
Once you've considered what you need to feel prepared, the next step is to prepare all of the equipment you'll need for shooting.
Think of it like you're packing up for a vacation. If you pack 10 minutes before leaving, you're probably missing crucial items like your toothbrush or underwear.
The same applies to photography. Nothing is worse than heading out and realizing you forgot something at home.

Check out my infographic to see what I pack in my camera bag before taking pics:

I usually pack my camera bag the night before so that I can easily grab and go. Once you get into the habit, you'll be ready for a stress-free photography experience.
